This year, the number of women entrepreneurs in Canada is projected to reach a milestone--the one
- million mark! Over the past several years, the number of women-owned businesses has been increasing 60 percent faster than those started by men. And, BDC estimates that “nearly half of Canadian small businesses are wholly or partially owned by women.”
