Our mission is to stretch leaders beyond their technical prowess to find renewed meaning in their work life and confidence in their soft skills… to recognize the importance of communicating better… to make the decision to lead a healthy lifestyle.
In January 2007, Edmontonians magazine launched The Transformers to create “a much wider circle for our Champions of Business in Greater Edmonton. It requires a firm belief that our leaders—and leaders-in-training—belong in the winners’ circle.” We assembled a team of executive experts, recognized for their ability to inspire, motivate and help change how entrepreneurs manage their relationships and project their images.
We determined that the key to ROI for business leaders was to hone their soft skills to achieve desired business results… to introduce them to healthier lifestyles that would encompass their physical, social and financial well-being.
Edmontonians inaugural Transformees were the mother and daughter team of Lynn and Jen Carolei, owners of Sublime Sun and Swimwear in St. Albert . Each month we chronicled their challenges and progress, while their emotional and revealing journey was featured weekly on CityTV’s Breakfast Television, culminating in the grand opening of their new store.
“The difference in my life is phenomenal. The Transformers helped to make me a better business person. I’m more balanced now, more effective. We’ve learned to plan rather than react to challenges with the store.”
